I am contemplating using anabolics (winstrol), but I am a diabetic. Any suggestions on which to use? Least side-effects...etc.

HEY SUPERTIGHT,I DONT THINK ANYONE CAN REALLY SAY IF YOU SHOULD OR SHOULDNT DO WINSTROL(STANAZOL) BEING A DIABETIC.THE MAIN REASON BEING,ANYONE WITH A MEDICAL CONDITION ASKING IF THEY SHOULD WORRY ABOUT TAKING A STEROID,SHOULD REALLY GET THIS SORT OF ADVICE FROM A DOCTOR(PREFERABLY, A SPORTS DOCTOR).THERE IS NOTHING DISTINCT ABOUT WINSTOL IN PARTICULAR THAT MAY POSE A THREAT TO DIABETICS,HOWEVER IF A MEMBER OF THIS BOARD WERE TO SAY "SURE,NO PROBLEM,JUST DO IT" AND SOMETHING UNFAVORABLE WERE TO HAPPEN TO YOU,WELL,THAT WOULD NOT BE GOOD.THE MAIN CONCERNS AS IT STANDS WITH THIS PARTICULAR DRUG ARE LIVER STRESS, AND ADVERSE CHANGES IN HDL/LDL CHOLESTEROL LEVELS.(AS WITH MOST STEROIDS).SO SUPERTIGHT,I RECOMMEND SEEKING THE ADVICE OF A QUALIFIED PHYSICIAN.REMEMBER,DOCTORS HAVE PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY,SO YOU WONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE LEGAL REPROCUSSIONS OF SEEKING THIS ADVICE.I WISH YOU LUCK,KEEP US POSTED AND WELCOME TO M.C.-BIG DAVE

I agree with Dave, I think that was good advise. Find a good doc that understands diebities (I am sure you already have one) and ask them what they think about if they could refer you to a doc that can give you some info on this. I do know a few BBers that are on juice that are also diebetics, but they are all male. Let us know what you find out so we can pass this info on to others at a later date. And welcome to the board! Welcome to mc.com ... just a side note... shoot a PM to Pumpdog.. i think he would know some info on it.. although i'm not sure about male/female differences and being diabetic... regardless ... he might be able to help. I know he's been busy and probably hasn't seen your post yet.. but if you don't get a response.. a pm couldn't hurt. However, once again.. a doctor would be able to give you the eXACT info you're looking for...
