Tito Ortiz has decided to not defend his belt against Chuck Lidell.
Can't believe it, looks as though Chuck will fight Randy Couture in June to decide who gets the forfieted belt.
I'd much rather take a beaten then Run like a bitch and dishonor the belt.

Tito and Chuck used to train together. Chuck would beat his ass in training. Tito has a Locked Contract but say's he wants (a shit load) more money to fight Chuck than his contract stipulates. UFC said no, contract is binding....................
Chuck has been the uncrowned King for awhile, but he has no pizazz or Star power like Tito does. Tito has been the UFC posterboy for awhile and they have run Chuck around a title shot for years but now it is His Time. Basically Tito just will not fight Chuck, he claims they are to good of friends to fight for that $$, but Chuck say's we are only associates and I want my title shot.

chuck has always fought the top contenders tito is a fight ducking pussy this fight is what the people have been waiting for and now tito blames it on money what about pride. chuck never talks shit like tito. if your the best tito prove it. he wont he is scared shitless of those heavy hands and great submission and takedown defence.

I agree ToeCutter Chuck fights everyone. Shit he has been sheilding Tito from all tuff challenges for 2 years now. Both Randleman and Vitor Belfort may have beat Tito but they lost their itle chances because Chuck beat them both on the way up.
I never Thought Tito would not take this fight in a million years. If he wins he seals the deal for Being the Best of the Best, but now he's lokig like a chump. He should finish his contact then renegotiate. If he gives the title there will alway's be that
"What If ??"

I'll get a good idea of where I stand this weekend. One of my teammates is fighting in Friday's UFC. He has the edge on the ground and I have the edge standing when we spar and we are around the same size. My boy is fighting a tuff SOB, heavy hands and decent takedown defense.

Shamrock was way out of his league, but has a heart of a lion, he knew he was infor a beaten and stood like a man. Tito faced with the same option is backing out.
