I need some advice.... Im 21 years old and have been dating a 17 year old for the past 2 weeks.... I broke it off with her last night cause Im afraid of going to jail for statutory rape( I didnt tell her that)...She called me this morning and wants to work things out... I am lost on what to do.. Any suggestions???

Im in Mississippi, im not sure how the laws are down here. I never date girls that young, i was just gonna give it a shot, but I decided she is too young and I dont wanna deal with any pissed off parents, so Im just gonna let her go.... there is always more fish in the sea

According to the link Harvey posted, the age of consent in MS is 16, so legally you should be fine. However, probably a wise decision. If you want to talk to her about it, might be a good idea, since she probably has no clue what the deal is.

young girls are fun from time to time, but in the end they are more of a pain than they are worth. Just way too immature. I really prefer older women and always have. For some dumbass reason I ended up getting married to a 22 yr. old (I'm 30), and believe me it's like taking care of a child most of the time.

If you just want to fuck, and it's legal where you are, I say fine... but if you want a relationship or something meaningful, closer to your age is better.
