K1 tonight - Bob Sapp

I wanted to post here because the TV forum doesn't get much love..............

K1 is the top Kick Boxing organization in the world out of Japan. It is huge overseas and is making it's American debut tonight on Pay Per View. They are trying to bring this sport to light so I think it is very cheap to order. Many people who fight in K1 cross over to Pride and the UFC and the fighting is alway's action packed. If you are a fight fan don't miss this. Bob Sapp is fighting in tonight's event, he is the 380 lb ripped freak.

OK.. was this event in Las Vegas? If so, it was on regular TV last night in Japan. Bob Sapp didn't fight he was just a guest.

Mark Hunt was there. He's always fun to watch as he just about never protects his head, and just about never cares how much it is beaten on.

I have to say the Musashi - Kakuda fight was lame, but Kakuda got what he deserved. He has been talking trash about Musashi (who I also don't think is very good), and saying he was going to teach him a lesson. Then he just got his ass handed to him, repeatedly.

Even so, he gave that Rocky 4 speech at the end. How the hell could anyone not watch that and say... uh... that's the same damn speech that Rocky gave in Rocky 4 after he WON against Ivan the Russian.

anyway... not too exciting this time, but always worth watching.

Yes bro it was in Vegas, my bad. Event was horrible, feel bad if anyone wasted any $$ on ordering this. I saw the K1 add on pay per view and assumed (big mistake) that it would have been one of the Top Show's from Japan scince this was the US pay per view debut. Direct TV advertised Bob Sapp as if he was fighting not as just being in attendance. Show was low budget and talent was Sub-par compared to the K1 in the past from Japan.
J69 they did not show the Masashi - Kakuda fight here on our version.
IBulk - Sapp has me by over 100 lbs and is a good athlete, that is a hell of a hill to climb. I'd love to Spar / roll with him to see how his ground skills are but getting caught with one of those cannons he has would be a bitch.
Yes Zeca - Mirko is a tuff SOB and completely outclassed Sapp.

Cung Lee was awesome to watch - He is a bad mofo. He does not want to trafer over to NHB, but he would surely make some waves if he did.
