T3 and birth control pills

my lady is going to try some t3 for four weeks and we were wondering it will have any effect on the birth control pills, like sides or totally cancelling it out.  I figure they are responsible for two different functions, but just in case we'd rather be safe. Would 75mcg a day be to much.

week 1   25
week 2   50
week 3   75
week 4   50 down to 25

Well....for your first question, I cannot find where T3 interfers with birth control pills, I have researched it before and did not come up with any info one way or the other.  So, if it were me, I would use something else for a while  <!--emo&--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''><!--endemo-->  ....I really don't think that it does but its better to be safe than sorry.  As for the amounts....75 is perfect (if you ask me  <!--emo&--><img src="http://musclechemistry.mantisforums.com/IB3/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''><!--endemo-->)  thats  what I do when I use T3.  Except, I would do a full week at 50mcg and a full week at 25 mcg at the end.  She could also do 2 weeks at 75mcg and make it a 6 week cycle.

I agree with Dezir, 75 sounds just right.
And it's always best to use a back-up if there is the smallest chance something will interfere w/your bc. (Although I can't find anything that says it will.) It doesn't HAVE to be a condom if your uncomfortable w/that. There are lots of products out now that may fit your needs.

Thanks for the info ladies.  She hates the fat that she put on recently and wanted to give the stuff a try, but I'd feel like shit if I was the one who helped to fuck up her thyroid permanently.
