yesterday i was on this board before i went home. i signed off , cleared my cookies like i always do, shut down my pc and left. well last night i went online about 2 hours after leaving work and it showed me online before i logged in. but, it still let me logg in. wtf ?

I believe to clear the problem you need to logout and and close your browser, then clear all cookies on your computer, then you should be all set.
