Irony??

How about this one. Today my wife and I celebrate our tenth wedding aniversary, pause for applause. Ironically today after ten years, I lost my damn wedding ring.... I have no freakin clue where it is. My weight fluctuates so much, between 270 to 240, that I keep it big on my finger. Well I'm 240 right now, it must of slipped off. Can you say sleeping on the couch?
 
I lost mine at the gym @ 2years ago-some honest joe found it and turned it in. I went from feeling sick to my stomach to elated in a span of 3 hours. Any idea where you dropped it? A good place to look is anywhere you change clothes(A jewler told me that)
 
No clue, going to do a sweep off the house, gym, and truck. Thanks, I'll look thorugh my clothes.
 
Damn, that sucks. My 10 year anniversary is in 2 months... you guys doing anything special for it (like taking seperate vacations :D). I know where my ring is, at least I think I do... sitting in a little jewelry box. I've never really been comfortable wearing a ring, and my weight has ranged from 190 when I got married, to at least 285 but probably close to 300, then down to 175, then up to 223, now at 213 and on my way back down...
 
We're going out to dinner "alone" for a change, this weekend. I bought her a beautiful dresser/drawer 3 piece thing, and put it upstairs to surprise her. If I don't find that ring, I pray that's my saving grace. :D
 
No, being the vastly intellegent person I am/was, it matched and it was ingraved.
 
Doh! One of the things that keeps me from wearing mine is that it's got 3 little diamonds in it, which means the back has to be hollow and not smooth, which annoys the crap out of my hands! If we decide to get new bands, I think I'll just go with a plain titanium band (my skin reacts to the nickle in most metals).
 
Hey, maybe I can talk her into new bands! I'll keep looking though.
 
Al, are the 3 diamonds set at an angle acroos the top of the band? Is the band itself rippled? Thats what mine looks like.
 
yeah, the 3 diamonds are like a / across the band, and the band is engraved... I think we got them at service merchandise, but found that design several places
 
Congrats Bro !! When you stop panicing about it is when you'll find it. Good Luck, I am the worlds most absent minded bastard when it comes things like that, loose my damn keys and wallet 3 times a day on average. Thats why I don't wear jewelry often. I'll wear my ring and a watch for special occassions but after 2 hours or a few drinks whatever comes first, I take um off and give them to my girl for "safe keeping".
 
Congrats Scorpio on 10 years. I can understand how you feel. I would have been sick about that too. Never ever took mine off. (well, I did last June but that's different).
I used to carry a medalion she had made for me. Being that it was not on a finger, I used to misplace it. I lose shit all the time. A few times I found it in the clothes hamper. You have probably checked there, but if not it's worth a try.
 
I don't ever plan on wearing one of those again too bad yours is unique I could sell you one of my two that I have no use for anymore. Anyways congradts scorpio glad too see you make the long haul.
