I was just gonna spread the word.......my brother has recently graduated from the university of southern mississippi and was their mascot for two years and ranked 4th nationally. He loves doing it so much that he hasnt givin up on it and now this month the chicago bears are flying him to chicago in hopes to be their new mascot!

never give up on your dreams:)

Sounds like a fun job. I wish my job was as cool as that. I can just immagine the perks that would go along with a professional job like that!

wow that is so cool!! now everytime I see the bears Ill think of u. I was a cheerleader through school and the guys who were our mascots were always the best guys to hang around with. They were so much fun!!! Mascots are very special ppl. :)

I'm thinking the perks of being the Bear's mascot may include wild, naked, hot, sweaty, dirty, oily, body fluid filled sessions with some of the lovely cheerleaders.......I'm going to hell, everyone

sweet bro..i knew a girl in school that went to florida and was mickey mouse and loved it..it only lasted a about 8 months but she said that was about all she could take...but she said it was fun!

I just got this email from my bro:
Just wanted to let everyone know that I was offered
the job as the brand new mascot for the Chicago Bears.
I will be moving to Chicago by the end of the month.
I'll be making my debut at training camp in early
August with my first regular season game Sept. 29,
Monday Night Football vs. the Green Bay Packers.
Thanks for all of your support throughout this time.
I really appreciate everything. Much love and "Bear
Down, Chicago Bears!"

That is very cool, your brother must be beside himself. The Bears are certainly steeped in tradition and history, and have a great following. The great rivalry between them and the Packers is one of the things that make the game what it is for fans from both teams.
I hope his second game will result in a Bear victory. :D

that is true, he has always been a packer fan, mostly because we grew up watching brett favre play and also he went to the university of southern mississippi too. im pretty sure he will still be rooting for the packers.

The Bear's mascot is in reality a Packer fan?! Oh this is too much. Do you know the uproar that could cause if it ever got out?

:D I won't let it go any further bro. LOL

Awesome bro, it is great getting a job at something you enjoy doing, and going straight to the big show !! Nice. Congrats to your brudda man. At least he'll be bundled up for those cold assed winter games !!

That is funny I'll be watching that Game cracking up the whole time !!
