Here is my current project. He did some posing today with me and we took these pics. He is 189 lbs with 6.7% bodyfat. He upper body is coming along fine but since his right hip is fake he has had some problems getting his legs larger. I plan on working on them after the show. He is really getting into the diet and training! Post some good feed back and I will print them out for him to read.

How large is the file? Get a hold of WeirdAl, I'm sure he could help.

crop, resize, or just save in a little lower resolution. If you want to email them to me - [email protected] - I'll do it and post them for you.

2nd that,.... something just dosent add up!

6.7% no mistake. I have been taking bodyfats for about 14 years now. Three site: chest, thigh, and abs. He is almost natural. He did some clen and a little dball at the beginning of his diet. What bodyfat do you think he looks like? Trust me I know bodyfat measurements.

Delts and chest look good. Need to work on the back width and lower back to balance the physique. He knows about the leg size don't know how to work around the hip though. All in all a good start-much leaner than I am.

Bro,

That is fine you've been doing BF measurements for a long time. If 6.7% than where is vascularity, cuts ? He has visible fat on hams, glutes, chest, back, and abs. Not tight at all. Either way his physique is not suitable to be in a contest of any sort in my opinion. Needs size, definition, and everything else. Not trying to insult you bro but this is barely worth arguing about cause it is so obvious. If you doubt me put it on the main board and see what everyone else says. Oh yeah I say 12% Bf in my opinion. Later...

You can just kiss my ass! MC is for suporting bodybuilders in their personal quest to better their bodies. It is his first show, so of course he needs more of everything! 12%?! Right. Maybe I just need a better digital camera but trust me it is 6.7% not anywhere close to 12%. Oh, one last thing, "not suitable to be in a contest of any sort"! God what crap is that! I have seen guys in much worst shape! Maybe I should recap some basics!

First: He has a fake hip and was in a wheel chair for over a year. The doctors never thought he would walk without some type of mechanical support.

Second: He has only being training as a bodybuilder for 5 months. So I would say that he has made some real changes. Pre-bodyfat was 17%.

Third: Competitive Bodybuilding is not about waiting until you are perfect and ready to win the nationals in one shot. It is about training and competing regularly so that each time you become better. It is about more than just winning!

Next time think about the dumb shit your about to post. Also remember that people post here from support and honest help. I have re-read your post and their was no support or help offered. Later...................

True Competitive Vision

A good post by Skip:

My thoughts.... for what they're worth...
I am not coming down on anyone here at MC as everyone here is very supportive of one another, especially come contest time. However, I just want to make a point after reading some of the shit that I read on the other 4 major boards that I frequent.

I want to say that no matter what place a bro or broette takes in a show, has little do with their success or failure or what type of person they are. There are so many variables that go into a show that it just isn't fair to judge anyone on how well they do or don't do as far as placings. I mean, how many times have you seen someone with a subpar physique win a show because the competition wasn't all that great? Exactly my point. At the same time, I have seen some badasses lose to another badass and have to settle for 2nd or 3rd place.

It takes giant balls to get up on stage and even bigger balls when you pretty much know you aren't in the running to win the damned thing. I have even wondered if I, myself, could prepare for a show if I knew I didn't have much of a chance to break the top five. I am not sure I could do it mentally.

The sacrifices of getting ready for a show are endless. From leaving out extra time with your kids, wife, friends, loss of focus at work, general lack of motivation to pick up around the house to the amount of money involved in a focussed and intensive prep phase and giving up tasty foods for weeks on end. Never mind the legal gamble we all take to make sure we have all of our 'shit'. Taking all of this into consideration, I question it all and I have been relatively successful in the sport so far. I can't imagine sacrificing all of these things to not be at the top. Now, don't get me wrong, I UNDERSTAND completely that it is not about winning as much as it is the personal challenge. As much as I understand this, I still don't think I could do it if I wasn't going to be at the top. Just being honest here.

I want to say that my hat is off to ANYONE who competes - 1st place or last place. Stepping on stage and competing makes up such a small percentage of bodybuilders that you should feel proud that you have accomplished something that not just anyone can do or is even willing to do.

If you don't have giant arms, you can find consolation in the fact that you have giant balls.

Skip's out.

OK just for shits and giggles go look at my pics and what do you think my b/f is? btw what are you pinching on calipers....

If you would read the tread and you would find that the sites I used are: Chest, abs, thigh.

I will look at your pics but bodyfat by sight is really not easy or that possible. In personal maybe.

Let's knock off the negative comments. Constructive comments are great, but saying someone has no business on the stage is uncalled for.

midwtchamp I would guess above 6% but not more than 10%. Hard to tell since the pics are not that great, also since you are pretty white. How lean do you think you are? Get your bodyfat done with a three site skinfold (chest, abs, thigh) Your leg seperation looks great for 12 weeks out. Abs look good as well. How many shows have you done? Middle weight right? What show are you doing? Keep up the good work. Post the diet you are going to use. Later.....
