alright fellas - this is the story:
I always liked Italian yellow gold - I have this nice 14kt chain that my mother gave me - I wore it before but now I put it aside. I have 2 14kt's bracelets. One of them is from my brother in law, and the second one is really cool 14Kt yellow gold (Italy) the 2nd one my girlfriend bought me for my birthday like 4 weeks ago or so, I was wearing if for few days and then I also put all that aside. So all my yellow gold is in this box. I don't like yellow gold anymore, so I've decided to wear "white gold" since its so popular these days. If you watched a movie, " A Night At The Roxbury" and the first brother Doug Butabi always wears that white gold chain, well mine is similar to his.
Three days ago, before my work, I went to this jewelry shop its in the downtown (Boston) very popular and expensive place. So when I came in, I told this Asian woman to show me all their white gold 14Kt chains - so she did. Then I picked this really nice 14Kt white gold chain - it was too long so she made it a little shorter maybe took of 3 to 4 inches or so..its perfect now. I also wear white gold earings...so I told her if she can prove it to me that it was a real white gold, and she agreed. She brought this liquid looks like the eyedrop bottle. She told me to take my earing off and I did, she took the earing and rubbed it against this material which left marks they look like scratches...then she took this chain and did the same thing...and then she took my silver ring, and did the same thing like she did with earing and the chain..after she did that she dropped a few drops of that liquid.. The silver (my ring) the marks disappared but my earing's and chain's marks still were there, so she told me if they stay there its not a scam and its a real thing..and I bought it. The chain was $180 (not expensive) I don't know if there was any sale the chain is not thick at all its probably thick like the lines between | | I thought its gonna cost way more. It sparks alot...so what do you think about all this , plus what supply should I use to clean white gold ??
