What keeps you sane while dieting

Man as most of you know I am bout 6 weeks out from comp and man I go crazy sometimes but I have a few secret weapons that keep me sane while getting lean here are my not so secret weapons anymore lol...
1) sugar free bubble gum
2) unsweet tea
3) crystal lite
4) peanut butter
5) diet soft drinks

Let me here some more of your weird tricks that keep you sane!
 
Never dieted for a competition......I do remember trying to lose bodyfat though, and waking up in the middle of the night with an uncontrollable urge to raid the whole damned kitchen. I'd end up eating everything "carb related" in the kitchen. Crackers, cookies....I'd even take vanilla wafers and dip them in frosting for goodness sake......I'm sooooo ashamed

and diet coke. But u americans are lucky to have so much diet food, its not as common here in sweden and thats makes it a little harder.
 
I'm not sane anyway, so dieting iswn't a problem that way.

Before I got into bodybuilding (about 5 years ago) I had gotten seriously overweight -- 220 lbs on a 5'7" frame. I dropped all the way down to 135 (I have built back to 175 since lifting while keeping BF of 7-9%). During my diet the key was berries -- they fed my sweet tooth with minimal calories. Strawberries and blueberries especially. Also, the weight watcher ice cream snacks. I would get one of the ice creams (150 cals) and put fresh cut strawberries and bananas on it for a treat. This gave me a low cal - high fiber treat that kept me on the wagon for 9 months. I still drop back to berries when cutting.

crystal light and crystal meth help me diet down real lean,lol, seriously though the crystal light and natural peanutbutter help me when im an angry fuck
 
Crystal meth, that explains alot P, LOL.
I never had to diet so strickt like for BB comp but I have had to make weight for grappling tourneys and the only thing that kept me going was my cheat day and my goals.
 
I've only been on the diet for about 5 weeks now... dropped from 226 to 207 so far... definition is just starting to come in a bit. The only thing I haven't dropped is juices... so I guess that's it for me... hasn't been that hard yet... just hungry... but I haven't tried dropping into ketosis yet so...
who knows.
