Sup bros been awile since I have posted here. Been very busy with work and fatherhood. Hope everyone is well.

My 7-year-old nephew is staying with us for a while and we took him to an amusement park over the weekend. While we were there we went on al sorts of rides and had a real god time. I noticed that outside the park there was a bungee jumping crane set up. I haven’t jumped off of anything that high since I was in the Marines so I figured what the hell. I have to say that after you have jumped out of helicopters that bungee jumping isn’t that big of a thrill, at least not off of an 80 crane. Anyway after I was done my nephew wanted to go. I said no, I told him it may not look so bad from here but when you have to make that last step you’ll freeze. They have a no money back policy and I couldn’t jump in his place due to insurance and registration forms being filled out before every jump. After he pleaded and begged and swore he would jump no matter what we decided what the hell. No the story gets funny. We got him all harnessed up and he was pumped. There was a balcony side hotel facing the bungee tower and a lot of people on the ground. Everyone was high fiveing him and cheering him on, it was quite a scene. The little guy bravely ran up the stairs and all the people were calling him little dude he got all the way to the top and got hooked up to the cord stepped out onto the ledge, looked down and came running back! I immediately went into the you have to jump now or you’ll hate yourself for not following through, I told him this would be a life changing experience especially because he was scared, after much coaxing from me and the rest of the cool peeps on the tower he bravely approached the step again. This time he came running back and clung to the tower for dear life and was crying. At this point I couldn’t bear the thought of him having to walk back down the tower with his tail tucked, so I decided to try and yank him free and toss his tiny little but off the tower, he was not letting go, I then heard my wife from the ground sportingly shouting THROW HIM OFF! (While holding on the baby carriage containing our relatively new born son) so I’m yanking on him and cant get him free he is screaming bloody murder and crying like a girl at this point (no offense to the ladies) anyway I now realize I am not getting him to let go and he is not going to jump, so I have a very naughty idea, I assure him that he doesn’t have to jump and tell him he has to let go so the next person in line can go, he then looks at me with this sad look and lets go, as soon as he let go I grabbed him and lifted him over the railing, he was going insane, ( I knew I was taking a big chance here but I was sure he would rather do it that walk away in shame) he was kicking and screaming and I asked the guy on the tower if he thought he would be ok flailing about as he was and he said most likely , sooooo.... I tossed his 45 lb ass off the tower. I immediately started running down the tower just in case I just killed him but when I got down there he was still bouncing on the cord and was happy a s a clam. No he is so proud of himself its all he can talk about..

LOL, Glad it worked out. I got to figure I'd be arrested for throwing a kicking screamimg kid off a 80 foot crane.
Your right tho he will alway's feel good about himself for steppin up !!

You taught him a big lesson in how good it feels to overcome your fears. Besides that, he got to have the most fun he has probably had so far. The mental image alone is a riot.

Poor BigShug! She is a little more than 45 lbs so I guess she could put up a good fight!
