"I am in limbo right now. My head is cluttered and I am not at all focussed. I have serious reservations about going into this next show. I am physically and psychologically exhausted.

I have taken yesterday and today to figure out what I will do. I will know exactly whether I am going to go down there for the second show by tomorrow.

I will let you know.

Remember bro that it is when we are weak and ready to give in that we can develop the most. It is now that you MUST push on and not give in. Do that next show and kick some ass. You will feel more personal reward form going to your limits on this show than the last. Best of luck! If I can do anything just yell!

thanks for the support, bro. I have decided to get into my best shape possible by monday or tuesday and make the call. However, it is not JUST a lack of motivation. I am actually borderline sick and have a terrible rash across my back and abs from what I think might be an abcess in my right biceps. I can't be sure.

However, I am muddling through. I feel like shit and have had terrible abdominal cramps for the past 3 days. I feel the way you do, though, and feel like I will do well and achieve what I set out to achieve if I am able to go down there.

Thanks again for the support and I will keep everyone updated.

Hang in there, man. Rest up this weekend, get some antibiotics if you think you need them and re-eval on Monday.

I am concerned about the antibiotics messing with my condition and messing with my supplementation. Do you have any thoughts on this?

hydorcortisone cream clears up rashes very quiclky

It is more like small clusters of blisters. It is weird. Almost like sun poisoning but the muscles underneath the blisters ache terribly. ??

Dunno....

Skip,

Its possible that they could affect water balance, perhaps by upsetting your GI and absorption (diarrhea, etc.). If being sick (and the rash) could be cleared up or kept under control by antibiotics, the drug would be the lesser of two evils.

How is the biceps?...

For what it is worth, my doctor has always told me that antibiotics do not interfere with the AAS or othere supplements. I used to get constant ear infections, and was on antibiotics atleast 3-4 times a year. Both on bulk cycles and precontest-I never noticed a difference in water retention or their ability to work. I have , however, like what Hom. said, noticed that when I do not feel well, have an irritation or possible infection like what it sounds like you have, noticed that it can do all kinds of shit to my physique, including making it retain water and be flat. If your body is fighting off some kind of baterial infection (which is most likely the case considering what you have described) your physique will probably suffer many times more with out the antibiotics than with them. Ask for a broad spectrum antibiotic such as Cipro,Augmentin, or better yet the Z-Pack, that you'll be done with it before Wed if you get it today. It will clear enough of the infection away in 48-72 hours so that it should just be an after thought by contest day. Plus if you get ultra paranoid , pull them out on Fri and start up again Sun. 5-6 days should be plenty to clear you up.

Good Luck Bro

I know it sucks, I have had to compete with the flu and with strep throat before-sucks hard!

Take Care

SKIP, hydrocoritsone cream works on any kind of skin irritation or blemishes. I use after I shave because I breakout. Works great on pimples too.
