Yep I'm back from the river. 10 dives in 8 days got a job as a part time bouncer on the weekends tan as a mofo now saw some wicked boats only bad thing was I have a ear infection now think I might have had a slight sinus infection when I was diving which really has bothered my ears now quick trip to the Dr's and some antibiotics will be good to go soon. Badger the wrecks are awesome up there water was 63 not too bad visibality was a good 50ft at least thank you Mr. Zeebramuscles

Glad you got some good dives in. The zebras have really cleaned up the lakes eh? Temps sounded good for this time of year. I haven't gotten a new wetsuit yet, so haven't been under water since the trip last Dec. I think 50ft. vis is the absolute best I've ever had on Lake Michigan, and that was just one time.
Sounds like you had a real large time. When's the next trip to warm oceans?

glad you had fun, I'd like to try diving some time. maybe one day

I spent 4 days snorkelling on Bull Shoals lake in Arkansas, and it was a blast! Water temp was great (low 80's at the surface), too! I can only imagine how much fun scuba diving would be! But man, my ears are still screwed up from the ~25 foot deep dives, and then the drive back through the mountains (tenn/nc mountains)

Glad you had fun,... Now lets talk about why i wasnt invited! ;)

Al, when you scuba dive, your ears are not affected that way except in rare cases. You have time to equallise the pressure and that way, you never feel any increased pressure to the ears. Otherwise you'd never be able to stand going below 15 feet. That's one reason you shouldn't try to dive with sinus congestion or a chest cold. Once you learn the basics, it is actually a lot easier than snorkeling.

ROAD TRIP !!!!

diving in a lake? i thought you meant in the bahamas or virgin islands. im in florida so when i think of diving i think of the islands in the caribbean. glad you had fun.

Have you ever stepped on a zebramuscle? It's like stepping on a box of thumb tacks.
