tanning/oils

What all do I need for contest tanning and show prep.?
I am going to order pro tan, but do I need anything else? I keep reading about Dream Tan on comp. day, but do I need it if I use pro tan for 2-3 days. I have a good base tan. Also, I have a friend who says just use baby oil for the show. Is that ok or should I get some posing oil. And if so, what kind. Thanks for all of you help. This forum is helping me get through my last few weeks.

I recommend the following.

1: get a base tan using a solarium for the last few weeks. No tanning in the last 3-4 days though, you dont want ANY hint of sunburn.

2: Day before show, 2 coats of Protan.

3: Morning of show, VERY light shower in the morning, just to take the crappy top layer off.

4: Backstage - apply Dreamtan before pumping up.

Works like a charm

This is VERY important not only for the red color it can cause but more importantly, even a slight burn can cause the skin to thicken and pulls water to the skin due to the sun damage. The last thing you want is thicker skin.
