weight gain on contest diet

I have been dieting for 5 weeks. I have been avg. losing 2.5 to 3 lbs per week. I had been on 500mg ent and 400 mg eq per week the first 3 weeks. I switched to 100mg prop eod, 100 fina eod and 400 mg eq ew. The first week on this I lost 2 lbs. The 2nd week I gained 4 lbs back I did start getting good pumps from the fina. My diet is very strict I record everything and weigh carbs out with digital scales. My diet was identical. I dont think I am holding any water. Is this normal considering the situation???
 
Yup yup this is very normal especially when you start eating quality foods and actually weighing and watching what you eat. YOu body is a muscle making machine w/all that gear in you so anything it can get it will turn to muscle, and you are eating quality foods so that helps. I always gain 4 to 5lbs when I first start cutting.
 
Don't worry. As midwtchamp said. as long as your eating good quality food and it sounds like you are. It's muscle!
 
i eat eggs and oatmeal for breakfast and evything else is tuna,chicken or lean steak and sweet potatoes
 
get your body fat checked regularly (I do mine weekly) - then you'll know for sure and be able to adjust things accordingly!
 
I am even more freaky than al I check my b/f every morning...well I use calipers just to see if I am pinching less etc...good luck on the cutting bro
