Hey ladies. I'm just kinda starting up with training again after being out of it for a while (which sucked) and I'm basically looking for some basic info on what kind of stack to start on. I was thinking a basic ECA combo but I'm not sure. What works for you?

As far as my training goes, I'm doing a ketogenic cycle where I do most of my weight training Monday-Wednesday and then cardio at the end of the week. Carb depleting through the week and carb loading on the weekend.

Any tips or advice would be awesome! Thanks! :)

Welcome to the board!
Give us(men and women) some current stats and goals and I'm sure we can get some advice here.

Hey! Thanks for the welcome.
Current stats are:
Height: 5'5
Weight: 125lb

Goals are to put my lean muscle back on and to lower my bf dramatically (not sure what it is now but will measure soon and let ya know!). I'm just getting back into this so I know that's kinda simple. I'm looking for the most effective way to do that in terms of nutrition and supplementation; I already have a good handle on the workouts but any advice would be great!

hiya T82!

If you want to lower your bf dramatically.. a suggestion would be to do cardio every other day & do your weight training on the other 'every other' days.

Your program may look like Mon, Wed, Fri, Mon weight training.
Tues, Thurs, Sat an hour of cardio and Sunday a free day.
I do some form of cardio every day.
When I'm on a strength training day, I do 15 minutes on the cross trainer.. then my weights.. finish up with 15 minutes on the cross trainer.
And at some point during the day, I get another half hour in because I'm pretty active naturally {hiking, swimming, rollerblading, jogging, bike riding, etc} so cardio isn't a chore to me as it is to most people.

Actually, take a look at the Body for Life program in the natural transformations forum. I bought the book for one of my neighbors & I follow their strength training schedule now.

Nice to have you here! ;)

Thanks for the tips! I actually enjoy cardio myself as I dont have a car (poor university student here) so I ride my bike/rollerblade everywhere. I usually do spin class at the gym and I love it.

I'll definately try doing the every other day deal.

I'm glad I found this place, I've learned so much already from all you guys!

Do you do fitness competitions and that kinda stuff? Just curious! :)

I'm glad I found this place too!

I started coming here to learn about 'suppliments' & wanted to get ideas for a thesis I'll need for my masters, but I ended up chitty chatting more than learning & it's just my daytime hang out now *lmao*

No, I don't show or do fitness competitions, but I've always been into fitness & healthy living and love to read options to reach my own personal goals.
Plus, there are so many knowledgable people here contributing all the time, for training~ emotional support and to keep your spirits up.
