Pretty much everyone I tell about my contest is asking me if it's a natural contest. Someone from work asked me - I said "I'm not sure, I didn't check, since it doesn't really matter"... My eye doc asked me yesterday (actually asked if I was natural, I said I was on HRT). Anyway, seems like that's the first question everyone asks when I tell them about my upcoming comp!

Simple they want you to admit your chemically enhanced, so that they can feel better about themselves. Sure forget the hard work and dieting you've done. It's gotta be gear right?

My family asked the same thing (they dont know I use flintstones) and I said NPC is not tested and they were like that isnt fair for you is it since you dont use I said no, I will do well....I get the same thing all the time I hate it but oh well!

Yeah, I didn't think these particular people were jealous or anything, I think they were just asking the question kinda for confirmation, like your mid's family. My family (well, parents & wife, at least) know

What you guys aren't natural? You all like bionic or something? One of my friends said he was impressed from my gains and asked if I was natural. I said no I was artificial. He laughed and so did I. I just told him I take the top of the line supplements.

When you think about it, that's kinda rude isn't it? I don't ask women if their boobs are natural, or if they are on the pill. (well, not as a matter of general conversation). I don't ask if they've colored their hair or had a facelift. I don't ask if they are on hrt for menopause.
Just a thought.

It's just ignorance. If someone looks a certain way or is competing in bodybuilding, I'll assume he's doing steroids. And to me, that doesn't diminish his accomplishments in any way.

I've actually heard the comment that if you take gear, you don't even have to workout, you'll get big even just sitting on a couch.
