What I didnt know!

I didnt know that protan was a spray on...I figured it would be a cream or something of the likes. I used to use dermasheen but they quit making that and it runs really bad. The protan base is a spray and the bronzer is a cream....learn something new everyday. Now how do you people use these 2 in combo?

the best way to put the protan on is with a foam brush used to stain wood. put some in a bowl and dip the brush in then apply will go on even and not run this way. the guys around here put on protan on thurs night then jan tana on fri one or 2 coats depending on their base tan. get some rubber gloves to put the jan tana on with. this combo gives a nice color

I wouldn't recommend putting the protan in a bowl due to the high level of alcohol in it. You will end up with less protan as it takes awhile to do one coat and it will evaporate much faster in the bowl.

Just spray in on and spread it around with the brush. It doesn't have to be perfect as the excess will wash off anyway. I usually wait for 4-6 hours and then take a light, water-only shower (no soap or anything) to rinse off the excess.

I recommend 4 atleast 4 coats of protan. You might think you are dark as hell when you look at yourself in your bathroom at home but I guarantee that the lights onstage are much more vicious.
