I have a Nokia that I've never had problems with. The flip opens aren't that durable IMO. They also maje them with text and images. AT&T usually gived out the no-frills one, the one I got, when you sign up.

I have had great success with a Nokia cellphone using ATT as the service provider. I live on my cellphone for work (well over 1000 hours per month 1/2 of which is international) and no other combination is close.

AT&T Wireless is really good. They have great service and good selec of phones. Good plans too.

lg seems to work best...even in some of those "bad zones," it seems that its second to none for the reception

Hey presser if I missed it sorry but, who is your service through? If you are looking for a more durable phone, motorola makes one of the best. Verizon is getting ready to introduce push to talk. Very similar to Nextell walkie talkie. Also in November the new law passes that you can use the current cell # you have and use it with another carrier.... Nokia is good but delicate.
