queer eye for the straight guy

I saw the first one, it was about all I can handle. Anyway isn't the basis just like the TLC shows? (i.e. While You Were Out, Trading Spaces)

I've seen it Al...it kicks ass

The last episode I saw had the "guys" helping this other guy revamp his whole image and his apartment as well so that he could present the perfect environment to propose to his fiance....

It was awesome, wish I could be that original

Sort of... the "fab 5" work with the guy to get ready for something (propose, ask their girl to move in with them, do a singing solo, etc), and they completely make them over. Their look, their cooking, their clothes, and their house. And of course there's a running commentary :D

Seriously, the food they had this guy prepare and the area they put together to have him propose was freakin' perfect......I think I may have cried, dammit

Keep the comments to yourself, folks...I know where you all live

Just saw another one and I wish that guy that does to interior of the house would come and do my house in a day. J.R.

personally, i think there are too many shows condoning homosexuality so i don't watch stuff like that. i have nothing against fags, but i don't want my kids to grow up thinking its o.k.
seems like its all the rage nowdays to throw a fag in the cast.

just my .02

In my opinion there are too many show that use any sex as the selling point, I don't condone the homosexual lifestyle as at is an afront to God, but the show is fuuny and they aren't kissing each other and putting sex in our face. I figure if you don't want your kids watching something then don't let them.

I'm actually of the opposite mindset. I want my kids growing up knowing that if they are gay, then that's fine - they don't have to hide it from me, or try and kill themselves because they are trying to be someone who they aren't.

But I think this is just a cool show regardless of all that :D I'm sure I could certainly use some help, lol

Very good balanced view Al. I just think that in certain settings Gay brudda's tend to lay on the act very thick and it bothers me. I knew a few gay guy's from my old town they were cool as anything until they got together and started acting as Super Queer's and it bothered the shit out of me.
Just be you.

Have not seen the show yet.

I agree with Al's view. I good friend of mine from high school I played football with almost killed himself because he was so scared to tell anyone he was gay. He's cool now and acts just like a regular guy except in the bedroom.

I WHOLE HEARTEDLY DISAGREE, ITS NOT OK, TOUGH TO SAY IF MY CHILD WERE TO GROW UP THIS WAY, I WOULD HAVE NO CHOICE TO LOVE HIM BUT I WOULD NOT TELL THEM ITS OK, I KNOW THAT SOUNDS FUCKED UP AND WOULD MAKE THE KID WORSE BUT I JUST WOULDNT BE ABLE TO EXCEPT IT, ATLEAST I DONT THINK, LIKE I SAID TOUGH TOUGH CALL TO MAKE WITHOUT HAVING IT HAPPEN OR FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE, BUT NO ITS NOT OK, NOT EVEN IF THEY ARENT SUPER PUBLIC QUEERS, JUST NOT OK

ALSO I WAS AT THIS CLUB WHEN I WAS YOUNGER IN PHILLY CALLED SHAMPOO, BUNCH OF FLAMBOYANT FAGS, I HAD ONE PEEP OVER THE URINAL TO VEIW MY COCK WHILE PISSING, AND ONE GUY GRABBED MY DICK WHILE I WAS DANCING ON THE STAGE, NO ONE GOT HIT, I JUST WALKED AWAY FEELING OH SO DIRTY,LOL
