bros, what do you spend on grocery's each month?

Im bulking and doing it clean is getting expensive. just looking for ideas to keep the cost down. Also, where do you bro's shop at? Like what stores?

thx in advance

I pay $1.99 max per lb of boneless skinless chicken. We do most of our grocery shopping at sam's or bj's wholesale clubs. When I buy steak, I usually buy the cryo-packed slabs and cut them myself. I buy oatmeal in bulk...

hahahahhah try about 75 per week! and that is just meat and potatoes and rice and stuff the majority meat...that doesnt include supps...which you add about another 50 eow

I do the exact same....I spend around $500-$600 a month....the food is the worst part....I eat just like the guy on tru life....i am always eating...(the football player not the bber) every 45 minutes I am eating something clean....

I don't want to add it up. I spend alot on can salmon and eggs. Protein shakes get me in the pocket big time.

That is a good deal. I have been getting crates from Costco. I bought some from Sam's once and cracked open an egg to find a chicken. I couldn't eat eggs for like three months.

You should have raised the chicken and then had it for dinner..

lol. I am probably gonna get a sam's membership this week when I get paid if they have good enough deals. Might try a superwal-mart since it is right next door but hear they really aren't all that cheap.

al, where do you get the cryo-packed slabs from? the wholesale clubs?

thanks for all the responses guys. I can usually get chicken for $1.99 but occasionally it is twice that much. Hell, 1.99 a lb. and a lb. a day is $60 a month in chicken alone.

"You should have raised the chicken and then had it for dinner"

Your a pisser bro.

I dont eat enough off-season, but it always seems that when you are dieting it costs more for groceries. I guess because you rely more on the right foods and you arent out spending money on meals at restaurants.

I used to travel alot and always stayed at different hotels, cheaper ones like, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn.... They are alwasy competing for your business so most of them used to have the best breakfast. Some of it would be sugary foods, but many had small kitchens and they would make tons of eggs and good stuff.

I dont travel anymore, but if Im out and its early, I will stroll right into a Hampton Inn about 10am and have myself a little meal!!
They dont ask you for your room key...They wouldnt even consider someone doing it. But if you do it and dont want to feel paranoid then walk up to the front desk when you come in and ask them for directions from the HOtel to wherever. They are always glad to help a Guest!!!

*side note* if you are ever on a road trip far from your home and need to take a dump. The lobbies of those nicer Hotels like Hampton Inn have very nice and clean bathrooms.
Perfect for us Picky people who have a hard time taking a dump in a public place!!

I drink egg whites -- cheap good protein. Eat a lot of chicken and red meat. I also drink lots of milk (I know milk is controversial but my BF is really low all the time--I don't really have to cut to get it there). I drink gallons of water. So my grocery bill is really lower than 5 years ago when I was a total lard ass and spent all my money on chips, candy, coke and crap like that.

Easily I spend $100+ weekly. And that is for the mainstays. All throughout the week I stop and get things I'm hungry for, or don't want to thaw out.

umm at least 10 a day, not count supps

i eat atleast 4 steaks/chicken breasts a day

protein is 10 lbs every 3 weeks.

if you guys have one of the Aldi grocery stores where you live go there, better prices than Sams or BJ's
