My boy is starting Kindegarten tomorrow. Damn time is flying. He can't wait to get the bus in the morning, big day !!

Mine starts all day pre-K next week. Going to miss the little bugger. Between him and my daughter, I've been home with a kid for 8 years while my wife works. I work afternoons to cut down on babysitting.

My daughter goes to pre school on Thursday, bro they have no clue what they are in for !! She is a cute lil debil !! Little miss can't be wrong.

scary times, huh? My kids have been going to pre-school for awhile, but my oldest started 1st grade this year, and my youngest starts k-garten next july (year round school)

Yup, both of my kids start their pre-school next week.....it's my son's first year, my daughter's third.............how time flies - I forgot how "fun" it is to walk in and ALWAYS see your daughter in the time-out chair because she didn't use her "walking feet" or her "inside voice"............

makes you feel kinda old when your kids hit school huh?

It was harder on me then them it was tough watching them make that first step up on the bus, gets you right in the stomach.

Pre-K, 3rd and 5th and growing fast.

Sucks - I will be out of town for the first day this year - again.
I have a trade show every year on the first day.

My son started 1st grade yesterday, he has been going to school for 4 years but man how time flyes!

PS-I followed the school bus to school

OK, I'm really not criticizing anyone, but I have to get this rant off my chest:

NO ONE NEEDS PRESCHOOL. KIDS NEED TO BE HOME, NOT WAREHOUSED WHILE PARENTS GO OFF AND MAKE MONEY.

NO ONE NEEDS KINDERGARTEN. ANOTHER "GLORIFIED DAY CARE."

Whew,,,,,,,OK, had to say that.......I'm so tired of people having kids and then shipping them off somewhere else......We have 6 kids, and we homeschool them, so I guess I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum from most of you guys......

I know having your kids start school must freak you out. You know what freaks me out is my little 13 yr old sister is starting high school. That is right when my life went down hill. I don't want that to happen to her. I am scard for her she is a little cutie and all the guys are gonna try and take advantage of it. I"LL KILL A LITTLE BOY IF HE MESSES WITH MY SISTEEEERRRRRRRRRR!

I have sent my child to pre school for 4 years, He just started 1st grade, He can can read at a 3rd grade level, he is better on the PC then most 6th graders, He is an awesome athlete who plays soccer, football, baseball on teams with 8-10 yrs olds. I credit pre-school for a lot of that so you can not sit there and lump every pre-school etc together, Not everyone can have the option of staying home(read single parents etc) My .02

my little girl starts 2nd grade tomorow, cant wait to see her off on the bus, last year was real exciting for her, (1st grade) and me to,lol, my baby is a doll, and she is chearleading already! its great to watch!
