newbie questions

Before I ask what might be stupid questions ...just wanted to thank the posters here as i've lurked for a few months and gotten some really good info.

-Glycerol the day of or before a show? Is there an added benefit of increased vascularity or has the carbing up already achieved this?

-artificial sweeteners...sweet & low, equal etc. ..any reason to avoid these close to a show or any time for that matter....use it to help get down the oats and yams after a while.

-pumping prior to posing?....ok , I've read a dozen different opinions on this.
Do pump your back, delts, chest and bis....but do all minimally?
Don't pump your legs, tri's(ch & delts get them enough) or abs?

-maybe this one is in my head but sometimes after a shower its almost as if a different body comes out as opposed to the one that went in?? almost a shrink wrap effect. Is it the heat from the water on the skin creating a temporary effect?

Thanks in advance for any responses. I'm new a lot of the dieting aspects and appreciate the info.
 
OH hell lemme answer these....
1)Glycerol will help some, but a high simple sugar carb drink will do the same thing.
2)ARtificial sweetners make you retain a lil water
3)pump up from your lats up dont over work yourself just get blood flowing is the main thing
4)You look different as you get out of the shower b/c you are wet, posing oil will have this same effect on you
