Hey Bros and Bras, I just got back from Atlanta last night. Went to see some friends from way back when, and visit my son whom I haven't seen for 4 years. Got to go to the Falcons/Vikings game too.
I was hoping to see the Falcons beat the Vikings, but the Falcons only play the first half of a game. Not one time did they ever jam Moss at the line of scrimage. In the firt half, they had some success running the ball between the tackles, which is the only way to run against Mnnesota IMO. Second half they went away from that and got beat. Atlanta doesn't look like they have a Chinaman's chance to make the play-offs this year.
On a better note, I had the chance to see my son, and it was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. We had a great day together. Stopped by where he lives for a while and saw his mother for a little while. I don't think I've spoken to her in person since shortly after she ripped my heart out. One of the first thngs she said to me was "You're a lot bigger than you ever were". (thanks to what I've learned at MC) She certainly regrets dumping me 10 years ago. Right or wrong, it felt good to sit there and know that she wished she was still with me. I just played it cool and had a nice friendly visit, but inside I was thinking "now it's your turn to feel shitty about being seperated... how do you like it so far?" Kinda made me feel a little vindication that at least one of the three that tossed me aside in recent years regrets it deep down. It really lends truth to the saying "Vengance is a dish best served cold". Maybe that's not a good thing to take pleasure in, and it certainly does nothing for me in the present day to day of things. But you know what? It felt good to get some paybacks. I guess every dog has his day. I don't like to allow my cold dark side to manifest, but sometimes you have to stand aside and let the big dog eat.
Well, that's all... carry on.
