Had to share this from the gym

You know, at least if someone is going to the gym they deserve some credit but.... Sometimes I see things and wonder where people dream up some of the things they do. Take yesterday for example...
A guy was doing forearm curls with an empty e-z curl bar. Ok, nothing real odd there. He was doing a ton of reps, but that's his business. But between sets. He was sitting on the floor with his legs out to the side and his feet bent back under hs butt, and using the weight collars as a pair of hand grip springs while going from a siting position to a kneeling position and back again. None of this was he doing at an exertion level that would bring on a "glow" much less a sweat. Low intensity weight training I guess.
Today this guy took a 40lb dumbell and placed it between his feet. Then he reached down and took hold with both hands and in a segmentated motion, went from ground to waist, chest, overhead , behind the neck, back to over headand, chest, waist and back to the ground. Repeate about 8 or 10 times and stop before you get out of breath. Workout is done, time to leave.
Is it me or is that some weird shit?

LOL
i work out at a univeristy gym man i have seen a lot of weird shit around
example once and this is the weirdest thing i have ever seen this guy grabs a 25lbs dumbell and starts sidesteping in front of the mirror he then starts skiping and i swear i'am not making this up he starts skiping around in front of the mirror
needless to say though i was way bigger than he was i went to the other side of the gym to resume my work out :p

LOL
That dude was just plain weird i see him around the gym everyone now and agian but i haven't seen him do the skiping thing since that one time .
maybe he was high:p

could be something to do with physical therapy - or the guy could just be a flake!

Ididn't notice anything that would have indicated a therapy thing going on. You never know. Possible I guess. Thanks for making me feel like the ass-hole that I really am.
Seriously I think he was a flake, they seem to show up on weekends. Like the chubby chick that was doing cartwheels with her friend in the free-weight room, when there is a huge aerobics room next door that was empty at the time.

Are you serious???? :saywhat:

I'm serious... promise.

It blew my mind. It was funny/scary in aTwilight Zone sort way. ;)

My favorite people are the guys that are "prettier" than the women they stand around and drink cappucino and talking about their "routine" then go and get a protien shake. They drink that go to the bench grunt and squeeze out 5 reps that my 10 month old son could do....stop and sit around for the next 20 minutes, and then have the nerve to take a shower and leave. What the hell is that:angry:

The guy must have been a flake......

I saw this guy at the gym I used to go to. He was standing in front of a mirror holding a 45lb plate in front of his face doing a peeka boo type movement. When he was done with that he crouched down in a football stance and started laughing saying "just trainin' workin' out" then he started wondering agound the gym saying "just trainin' workin' out" over and over. Then he really got weird. He was walking around like he had somthing in his hand but I didn't see anything then he made a movement like he was flipping a coin. Then he skipped across the gym got down on his knees and retrived the immaginary coin from under a bench.

That was the only time I saw that loon there. It was a good laugh.
