If feels like I bruised it but I didn't.
I am dropping fat could that cut down on the padding?????I am about 10% BF so not low.
I wear Merrells most of the time.
No redness or anything just a dull ache on the inside of my heal.

Any advise other sit down.

Is the pain on the inside back of the heel. IF so thatn it is plantar fasciitis. It is is inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thin layer of tough tissue supporting the arch of the foot. Repeated microscopic tears of the plantar fascia cause pain. Sometimes plantar fasciitis is called “heel spurs,” but this is not always accurate, since bony growths on the heel may or may not be a factor.

Using an ice pack or ice massage on the area for about 15 minutes may relieve pain and inflammation after exercise and work. Massaging the foot in the area of the arch and heel before getting out of bed may help. Stretching is also important

It is very unlikely that you lost to much fat in your fat pad over your heel. Most probably it is the reason stated above. Dr. Scholes arch supports will work most of the time but I would try the ice massage. The best way for this is to get a 16 oz bottle and fill it 3/4 with water. Freeze it then take your foot and place it on the bottle on the floor. Run your foot back and fourth across it for 15 min from the ball of your foot to the heel. For 10 min afterwards do not do a lot. Allow your fascia to relax. You can also take 800 mg of advil every 8 hours. Avoid running for cardio if you can for at least a week. Let me know if I can help anymore then this.

New inserts for your shoes. Most shoe companies put cheap $.02 inserts in their shoes. I will help in the future.Espacially if you do alot of running.
