Lil tid bit for ya:

Pumkin seeds are high in zinc. They are a festive vegetable also high in fiber, beta caroten, and potassium. They act as a diuretic, and mild LAXATIVE, and they are antagonistic to intestinal WORMS!

SOOOOO - anybody gotta "go" but can not :crap: or if you suffer from worms  - get yourself some pumpkin seeds!!!!! :D

Great post. They are one of the best antiparasitics along with cloves and wormwood. The must be eaten raw or all the great stuff in them are destroyed

Being that Halloween is around the corner, I always carve out the center of the pumpkin and make homemade pumpkin pie.
I then take the seeds and put them in a salt water solution (only a little salt)
Then I bake them in the oven and viola - Your very own pumpkin seeds!
I LOVE them!

That is how I make them also, except with sea salt

Can I come to your house and sit around the table with you and Max and have some pumpkin pie? :D

good to know...i threw a bunch of seeds around my vineyard this spring to feed the deer since they are supposed to love pumpkins. i have about 200 pumpkins out there and some are over 200 pounds. for some reason though, the deer are not eating them like they are my apples...

WoW! Sounds like you have a green thumb too without even trying!
