New routine

OK ladies, here is what Harvey and myself came up with for a new workout routine, what do you think?

I was doing high reps before, we thought it would be a good idea to go to heavier weights for fewer reps for a while. The idea is either the weight or # of reps has to increase each week.

I'm still cutting, I will probably go back to an adkins diet, and will be taking yohimbe, and maybe T3.

Back & Chest

Incline BP 3 sets 6-10 reps
Flys 2 sets 10-15
Deadlift 2 sets 4-8
Seated reverse rows 2 sets 6-10 or Pulldowns 2 sets 6-10

Legs

Leg curl 3 sets 6-10
Leg ext 3 sets 6-10
Lunges 3 sets 6-10
Calf raises 2 sets 6-10

Arms & Shoulders

Preacher curls 3 sets 8-10
French curls 3 sets 8-10
Tri kickback 2 sets 8-10
Seated Arnold press 3 sets 8-10
Side lat raises 2 sets 8-10

Cardio 3 days a week. Going to try a high intensity shorter length cardio, if my knee will get better.

Munkeee, good luck with your new routine! It's good to jazz things up from time to time. I used to do high reps but in the last month have gone to 6 - 8 reps with the heaviest I could go with good form.
Hope that knee gets better ;)
Let us know how it goes.

Looks good girl....not doing to much in arms & shoulders?? just curious.... Good luck and keep us posted sweetie....

The idea behind this is to keep the workouts short, but heavy and very intense.

dropping squats because of her knee problems, i am a firm believer that leg extensions really help the knee. she needs to hit her hams hard too, so any other suggestions on that?

You could try front squats to build the inner quads and hack squats for over all size .
hamstrings hmmmmmmmmm i thnik yalkl got that covered but you could try machine suats with legs extended lower your glutes (i won't say ass ASS)to the becnh and go up this motion though hard on the knees concentrates on the glutes (ASSSSSSSSSSS) and hamstrings .

the problem is that those would be hard on the knees, and she is having problems with one of her knees.

hoping the 3 of the leg exercises will hit them enough, but if anybody has any better ideas we are all ears.

BTW don't have any machines all free weights.

i think you got it covered pretty good harv espsially since she has knee probs its better to go slow and be safe,.....

point taken machine squats are very hard on the knees .

i recomnd the machine squats dang it
on a more seroius note machine squats give you full extension streching everything between ur glutes and till ur hamstrings i admit they are hard on your knees but just use a light weight and do plenty of reps and your knees should be fine that is how i do it and iám suffering from a knee injury .
oh i forgot one important detial :embarrass harvery do u have a smyth at home ?
