I hate f'n Chiropractors. One of my patients got suckered into seeing one from a free health screening deal. He told my patient that if he doesn't do this or that, he will wind up never playing football again. This guy knows nothing about sports medicine and now this poor college athlete is scared shitless and thinking about taking a year off. He was told he has a subluxation. Who do thes f'rs think they are. I called him up and he is fresh out of Chiro school and doesn't know jack shit about orthopedics and functional training. How the hell can you tell a 20 year old kid that he is going to develop arthritis if he doesnt' rest. Then he says he probably has a disc buldge. How did he come up with this info? He guessed. F U dude and leave my patients alone.....

I'll back you 110% on this. Have C4-5 and C6-7 disks removed Memorial Day. Had I been seeing a Chiro, I firmly believe that I would've been crippled at best. C4-5 bulged so bad it hit the spinal sheath and was causing me not to be able to walk more than 5 feet. PT that I saw afterwards helped a lot in giving me proper advise and training.

Long story short, this past week I was able to run 4 miles a day for 5 consecutive days, first time since the operation.

Here's the hardware:

Dam bro you set off metal detectors with that. Let me rephrase this. I hate Chiros who don't know anything about sports injuries and orthopedics but pretend that they do. I have several friends that are chiros and they are top notch bros. I should have stated that and I didn't mean to offend anyone.

As in any profession, there are good and bad practitioners. At least your patient was smart enough to speak to you and check out the information he received.
