Not all reserchers are busy unlocking the secrets of the human genome. Be amazed, be surprised, laugh.

Behind bathroom doors:
When secret observers watched people at the sinks in public bathrooms, they discovered that "please wash hands" signs prompted more women to clean up with soap and water, rather than just a quick rinse. But mose men followed the water only stategy whether the sign was there or not. Why? Researchers at Penn State speculate that women are taught to obey social rules, while men are more likely to do what they want, even if it's socially unacceptable.

Copycat yawners are nicer people *Chelle does this - I thought everyone did...hmmmm....*
Contagious yawning may be linked to a hightr sensitivity for the feelings of others, Drexel University, U at Albany researchers have found. In a study of 65 students, researchers discovered that 40% yawned when watching a videoof people who were yawning. Those copycat yawners also ranked higher on empathy test.

Women's secret turn-on
A man's perspiraton can brighten a womens' mood and even raise leavels of a reproductive hormone that sets the stage for ovulaton. Researchers say this discovery could lead to new PMS remedies and fertility treatments. :suspect:
