Age 22 of Sharpsburg; on Tues., Oct. 21, 2003; beloved son of Patricia Gross and Robert Walter Carricato; loving brother of Luke Gross; adored grandson of James and Adrianne Gross, Audrey Carricato and the late Peter Carricato; dearest friend of Katie Pritts; also surviving are aunts, uncles and cousins. James was a graduate and honor student of Kiski Prep School, was currently a psychology major at Washington & Jefferson College, was an All American Jr. Olympic swimmer & had received meritorious service awards for saving a young boy from drowning in 1994. Friends received Thurs. & Fri. 2-9 pm at the WORRELL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Corner of Main and Ninth Sts. Sharpsburg. Services will be held Sat. at 10 am in First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6th & Clay Sts, Sharpsburg. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
