Don't know if this is the right place for this, but I don't know how else to ask this, so here goes:
I just joined yesterday. Posted an introductory pic in the members section, and got a warm welcome from many members....thanks very much for making me feel welcome.
But then this happened.......
When I logged on this morning, I saw that something was brewing around here, a little controversy involving among others, Scorpio and ChemE.
So, not knowing much at all about this site, I decided to PM these two members, asking if they could share what happened with me. I asked respectfully, and stated that I understood if they preferred not to. After all, I'm just a new guy, so maybe it's none of my business. But I figured I'd give it a shot, because I'd like to get a better idea of the group I just joined.
Now I find that my PM access has been disabled...no explanation given....but apparently, I can't send or receive them anymore.
After one day, my PM rights are taken away? Because I asked two members if they could share something with me?
I'd really like an explanation from an administrator on this. As I said in my PM's I understand if you don't want to, after all, who the hell am I? Just some guy that joined yesterday. But I got to say, after yesterday's warm welcome, I gotta tell you, I feel a little chill in the air.
I was hoping to maybe find a new home here.....I guess we'll just have to wait and see. :uhoh:
