I’m looking for some Ideas on changing my diet around. I have a high metabolism so I need to eat more carbs that most people or I have no energy.

Her is a sample day for my. Please post up you typical daily diet for comparison.

Meal 1
6 eggs w/a slice of cheese
Will be adding a bowl of raisin brand w/whole milk once I start my cycle

Meal 2
Tuna or natural peanut butter and sugar free jelly sandwich
Protein shake w/ whole milk

Meal 3
Usually a double bacon cheeseburger

Meal 4
Tuna or natural peanut butter and sugar free jelly sandwich

Protein shake w/ whole milk
Meal 5 (Post workout)
Protein shake w/ whole milk, 3 frozen strawberries, 5 chunks of pineapple, ½ banana

Meal 6 (about and hour after post workout meal)
Some type of hamburger helper or 2 chicken breasts on top of a salad

Meal 7 (Just before bed)
2-3 tablespoons of Natural Peanut butter

With this diet I have yet to be able to break 200lbs naturally. The only time I put on any type of fat is if I take long periods of time off from the gym and ever then it’s just a little in the belly and the love handles.

Give me some examples of what you guys are eating. Or some ideas on what I can do with my diet.

so...what kinda protein/carbs/fat intake do you think that you are lookin at gettin in a day? whats your weight and height as well?

very simply

if you just want the weight, stop counting what your eating and just eat, whenever you are not doing something for 5 or 10 minutes have somthing to eat, granola bars, shakes, anything you can get your hands on. then eat your regular three meals a day, + an almost full meal right before bed. what i usually have for lunch is a classic triple with cheese from wendy's and a baked potato, that is almost a thousand calories alone.

How many calories you eat a day?
I get about 5 or 6 thousand.
Good luck bro:cool:

hiya Jarhead :)

The only thing that concerns me is the amount of eggs you're consuming every morning.
When you add your bowl of raisen brand, you can switch with oatmeal & raisens to give you a lil change.

Also, go into the baking isle in the grocery store & buy almonds that have already been shelled.
Substitute a handful of them for the peanutbutter on a spoon snack.. that way you don't get sick of peanutbutter.

Granola bars are great to boost calories. Just be careful of the amount of 'bad carbs' {such as white flour, white rice, white potatoes} you eat..
Develope a taste for yams, brown rice and whole grains & put your burgers on whole grain bread, rather than a useless roll.

Try a basic 40-40-20 diet. 40% protien-40% carbs 20% fat. Spread out in 6-8 meals adjust caloric intake to what you sre trying to accomplish(cut or bulk)

By eating frequently, like every 2-3 hours, you are actually stimulating your metabolism which will cause you to burn off more calories quickly. Try cutting down from 7 meals to say 5, BUT, keep the over all quantity of food high. In other words, eat MORE at each sitting, just fewer times a day.
