This only pertains to lab-corp's IGF:

Since I am clearly mathmatically challenged :( , is this stuff ready to go right from lab-corp, or do I need to ADD 1ml of BA?

I know I need to draw up some BW to shoot, my question is the prep part before drawing up the IGF.

My apologies if this is sounds ridiculous, but I want to make sure I do this right. It would suck to find out otherwise after it was gone.

Thanks in advance!!!

P.S. insulin syringe is 100U

When I recieved my bottle I didn't realize how little liquid is in there. Only 1cc with 1000mcg of R3IGF-1. What I did was add 1cc of BA to the bottle. I keep it in the freezer and just shoot that alone. I don't add BW at all. DO NOT ADD BW TO THE BOTTLE. The reason I added 1cc of BA is so that its easier to see how much you are drawing up into the insulin needle.

The bottle you recieved you could draw it all into one 100 unit insulin needle so you get an idea how little of liquid you really have. So if you add 1cc more then you could obviously fill 2 insulin needles. So there are 50 ticks on the insulin needle and each tick is 2 units....with a total of 100units. So if you didn't add the BA then one tick would equal 2 units which would equal 20mcg of IGF.....2 ticks would equal 4 units which would equal 40mcg of IGF....and so on (one unit is equal to 10mcg) a 1:1 ratio. Now if you added the 1cc of BA then your ratio would be 1:2...which means one tick would still equal 2 units on the needle but it would now equal 10mcg...2 ticks now would equal 20mcg...3 ticks equals 30mcg and 4 ticks equals 40mcg....and so on.

I hope that made sense!

My slin pins are graduated into 100 ticks, each tick equals 10 mcg
of IGF if the vial is left in its original 1mg/ml state.
Ive been back filling the pin with 95 ticks of BW and then drawing 5 ticks of IGF into the pin. It help illiminate any last minute brain farts or screw ups trying to draw the proper amount of IGF.

I couldn't locate insulin pins with a 100 ticks so you can imagine why it was so hard to fill easily with the 1:1 ratio. Is adding the BW only so you can make it easier to get the correct amount of IGF? What is the point of adding BW otherwise?

what size slins do you guys prefer for the job?

1cc x 27g x 1/2"

1cc x 29g x 1/2"

i'm having problems seeing wich one is fit for the job?
what cc's and gauge do you guys recomend?

gearbox has awsome service. the t/a is like 2 days very fast and dependable.

27 or 29 makes no difference to me. I guess 29 g would be easier to inject. Its just important to find the 100 unit pins, makes it much easier to pull 50mcg ( 5 ticks) back filling with 95 ticks of BW makes it easy to draw only 5 ticks of IGF. Im new to the IGF thing, Im on day 3 of my first IGF cycle, so I can only tell you what I know....not much

I do happen to know what the BW is for; it is for making sure you get all the IGF out during the injection. However, I don't think you have to use 95 units, but go with what works for you.

yes i know what it is for,...but i do have an additional question on the two step procedure? I understand how you would pull air out of syringe to what mark you wanted to get your bw to fill then insert into bottle and push, then get out the desiered amount. Now push till the bw squirts out the end. Now how would you go about getting the igf, you do NOT want any of the bw contacting the igf or rapid degration occurs, so i guess you would only jusst pull out how many cliks you need diretly then instead of doing the air method again. But doing this isn't there a risk you would suck up some air the second time? What are the consiquences/ ways to solve air being sucked up?

I use 95 units uf BW so I get exactly 5 units of IGF-1 ( 50mcg)
Not necessary but makes it F-up proof..know what I mean?

and by the way a little air isnt gonna hurt...unless you are main lining it

Since Lab-corps R3IGF-1 is prediluted, is it shipped frozen (to keep potency)? No info on their website regarding this.

Mike

it is shipped fro Lab-corp with a cold pack overnight.
Igf1 ( from what Ive read) will store at room tempeture for eaily 6 months. I prefer to keep it in the freezer, just to be safe.

hmmmmm............. my order did not came in cold pack from lab-corp. please let me know how did IGF-1 came in.
thanks bros.

no? thats odd bro, but as the others said it is good at room temperature for weeks. Lab-corp simply ships with cooler packs to better serve their customers and because they get tired of explaining to everyone through emails that it is fine with out a cold pack because most people think it needs to be shipped cold which isnt the case, but again they do it anyhow because of the numerous misinformed people out there and this eleviates alot of the mail they would get asking if it should be cold etc..
