Silly Laws

Okay these are true - my daughter is doing this report for school some may still not be in force but at one time they were.....
They said it is just eaiser to keep them in place rather than go thru the legal steps to remove them

1. Winnetka, Illinois ... there is a law against removing your shoe in a theater if your feet stink.
2.New Jersey... you can't slurp soup in public.
3. Reed City, Michigan... it's illegal to own both a cat & a bird.
4. Louisiana ...you aren't allowed to whiste on Sunday
5. North Caroina.. it's illegal to drink water or milk on a train
6. London, England..it's against the law to kiss in a movie theater.
7. Findland ....you must be able to read in order to get married.
8. Iceland..... a guide dog is the only kind of dog allowed.

Tho many of these outdated laws remain, few of them are enforced.

WTF??? right.... those are just plain CRAZY...thought they were funny

i like #7 ....get some of those redkneck hicks from procreating...well i guess it really doesnt matter if they are married or not

I wish #3 was a law here. My wife has 2 doves. I hate those things. I could tell her sorry no cats and bird together.

I think that is actually on the books at the Tweety and Sylvester law.
