If you take a multiple vitamin/mineral supplement, and it is not a liquid or a gel, I would like to suggest you chew it up or crush it up before swallowing. Some studies suggest many of them do not break up in the digestive system. You can test your pill by putting it in a glass of water, or using saliva and see what happens in 24 hours (although, your stomach acids and intestines use different enzymes) it can be an indicator of whether or not your pill dissolves easily or even at all.
