Best music devise for the gym???

What is the best music devise to have in the gym? Since I have changed gyms to one where the music SUCKS, I need to buy an MP3 player or something......any suggestions?

I have a MP3 player. I got a Rio. It's alright but I don't really listen to music in the gym. The cord and device always seem to get in the way or bother me. All I really need is the voices in my head and the clanging of steel weights to keep me motivated.

voices in ur head ay,lol, remind me to be very nice to you,lol, and i have a nice tiny mp3 player, thing is cool free music, i mean cheap,lol, ofcourse i pay for it, i just wish it was louder thats all

oh yeah my wife had one first and i was jealous i had the big cd player and the waist bag for the cd player, now my mp3 player is the size of a small pager and clips right on the side of my pants, very very good as i feel free to move around like it isnt even there

yes presser bought mine for christmas last year and I love it. tiny ass thing. I can't imagine ever using a portable cd player again. they just seem so ancient. MY is by Yepp....works good...I like it. and it is easy use/upload music to.

Try to get one that has a neck string so you don't have to wear it on your arm or belt. This way the cord shouldn't get in the way during your lifts. Also, try to get a player with the most memory you can afford.

I have a walk-man from 1989. I got it from saving up kool-aid points. No shitting you people! I just don't use it in the gym.

I use a portable cd player right now and I'm miserable while doing any kinds of lifts standing. I hope to get an mp3 player for x-mas.

MP3's are the way to go. You can get some pretty small ones. They hold tons of music, don't skip, and batteries last quite a while (at least in mine).

I just bought a nike MP3 player. It's great. Small, clips on things easy, and has a rechargable battery with charger.

Randy your on the cutting edge man! Most of us just figured out mp3's and you come along and drop mp2's on us.

Actually, I was just reading about them and it makes sense, cd quality and smaller files.
