just got a digital video camera. it came with the sofware for uploads of still pics. i know i need different software to upload movies.

question is: can i use windows movie maker on my XP? should i get/download a better one? if so which one? i just want to send short clips of my kids to the family back home. i'm not looking for high quality film grade clips here!

Then Windows Movie Maker will fit your needs nicely. Just make sure to upgrade to the latest available version available from the MS website.
