I guess that I don't hang out where younger junior high and high school girls hang out, which is good...LOL, but wtf is going on? These girls are dressing more provacative then I've ever seen! I know some of guys around here have kids, I don't know if there this age or not, but maybe you could shed some light on this one. When I go to the clubs and see grown women wearing there low cut jeans w/ there ass crack hanging out and some kind of half shirt with there belly button all tight...I love it! :)

Then I walk around the mall and seen these young kids wearing the same thing, I want to through my jacket over them...LOL

I am wrong on this, or do you guys notice younger girls dressing more provacative these days?

Maybe this is a sign that I am getting old...:(

winnie...yes, you ARE old... but, the younger girls I think really don't even have a clue what that does to the average guy, young OR old.

LOL at BB. It does turn heads. I'm 21 and I just finally realized that it's got to be 18 and up here on out. (when I was 20 I thought 17 was acceptable, just not anymore)

Come to think of it, I was shopping with my sister for clothes for our neice and some some pretty trashy and slutty stuff at JC Penny! Leather skirts and belly shirts for 12 years and younger, that's not cool. Who buys this shit?

Thank Brittany, the others like her, the media and the advertising industry! Dressing in a way that used to be considered slutty is now considered cool. Lets just hope that their morals are still where they should be and that it does not go any farther than dressing to be cool.

I don't have any girls that age - but I do have two boys who are teen agers so I am just as concerned. I don't want my boys to get the wrong idea and do anything that they shouldn't be doing at that age. We can joke about it all we want, but in the end we know that kids under 18 should not be doing things that they might regret for the rest of thier lives.

I sympathize with any parents of teen agers - it is a huge challenge to balance out the pressure of the advertisers, the media and thier peers. Most kids are good and decent, even if they don't look like it. I have to keep reminding myself of that! - lol

Good point maddog, it concerns me and I don't even have any kids yet...all of the sex appeal that is advertised through media is rediculous, yet understandable from a marketing standpoint as sex does sell. Like Ambrocrombie, I believe it was, who had thier catalog w/ naked models in it, then decided to take it off their shelves after pressure from adult consumers. It just seems that there is a trend happening where when we have grandkids, like Presser, they will have to wear a two piece to school just to fit in and not be made fun of. When does society or the media draw the line?

maybe the mfg should put a tag on those kinds of clothes that require an ID to purchase. (minimum age is 18 to purchase this item)

parent can't compete with peer pressure and fashion trends

Yes you are getting old winnie......

If you really want to feel old you could be in my position. My youngest neice just turned 21.

I don't know what's up with parents letting thier kids dress like hookers. I think it's terrible.
