I have been way underpayed the whole time I have worked here, but it is pretty close to home and there is a lot of things I like about my job here.
So anyway..... I was talking raise with my boss, and he offered my well under what I was asking for. I told him I didn't think that was even competitive with other companies for what I do. To make a long story short, I end up talking to the financial director this morning about it....... He basically told me that was all he could offer me because everyone else is under payed...... So he can't afford to give us all raises..... WTF! He reassured me that I am doing a great job and that he doesn't want me to leave tho.... But that the company wasn't making much money, so that was the best he could do..... Then he gave me some crap about going through the good and bad with the company and that I would be rewarded later when the company was doing better.
BULLSHIT! anyone want to hire a slightly weird, juiced up system administrator..... LOL
