Kids

Well, my son is four, autistic, and doesn't usually know what he is getting into...

He loves to get into stuff, and yesterday he found some cleaner spray which he promptly squirted all the rest of into the kitchen sink. So tonight I was cooking my chicken in a pan and kept smelling this cleaner spray. It's ghastly stuff, and makes me want to gag. I couldn't figure out why I kept smelling it until I started to eat a few bites of my chicken and realized that my chicken was basically marinaded in the stuff! He had sprayed the cleaner in the pan (sitting on the stove top), which then evaporated and when I added my curry it made a nasty little toxic marinade for my chicken!

I can't seem to get the taste out of my mouth. :-(

That's a real bummer to hear that your little guy is autistic. I can't imagine how much more challenging that makes your job as a mom. I have three kids, which is really tough sometimes, but I'm sure it's nothing compared to what you go through.

personally i do not have kids. so i quess i can not fully understand them. on the other hand i deal with adults that act like children. i just make sure i pay extra attention to them. what i really want to say is that you can not possibly feel to well after even limited exposure to your special chicken. definately drink alot of water. milk thistle will also help clear your body of any toxins.

pipe girl, didn't know you were a mother. Kids can be a handful or two...lol.

My mom told me a story where I sprayed hair spray on their food while she was eating (they left a can of hair spray on the table for some reason. lol.)

Don't worry...it's normal kid behavior. lmao. When I was a kid I did way worse things. lol.

Sorry about the little mishap though. :(

I'm sure you already made your son aware that spraying toxins into your food isn't ok. lol.
