Anyone else tired of Adkins diet fad???

I am so tired of these commercials and beer, food company's jumping on the Adkins bandwagon.

The guy who wrote it died recently but was this not common knowledge in BB community low carb diets to lose weight yrs before the book his came out ???

Correct me if I'm wrong.
I am lucky I eat all carbs and stay pretty lean, pass me the potatoes!!

I just saw an ad in our local weekly grocery store flyer that said: "Chicken breasts - 0 carbs!" Are people that stupid that they don't already know that?!!

You can even get low-carb Russell Stovers chocolates. This is going to be the same thing as the low-fat craze that happened about 10 years ago. Non-exercising people will eat as much as they want because it's "low-carb" not realizing that they can't eat 4000 calories a day and not gain weight!

Wasn't the low-fat craze started by the gov't. Until they start to educate people, and we might as well start with the kids on how to eat properly the obesity rate in America will continue to rise.
