Ahh, yes - all great!

I have to say I'm not very big on war movies, but Full Metal Jacket is one of my top favorite of all time movies. Also, while not actually constructed of battle scenes, The Pianist was a really good wartime movie.

Enemy at the Gate---interesting note here. When I visited Volgograd , Russia (formerly named Stalingrad) I visited the WW2 museum there and they have a huge and absolutely impressive "panorama"-the scene of German and Russian troops fighting. There is a spot the narrator pionted out that was the site of the actual showdown depicted in "Enemy at the Gate". His rifle is also on display....if memory is correct the Russian sniper had 900 plus confirmed kills in WW2. I have some pics that when I get developed I will post them for members to see-the museum was panorama was incredible.
