I'm training another trainer here in town. A great guy. Been working with him for a while. One of his clients (in the past) is madly in love with Bill Phillips and is doing his second EAS challenge thing right now.

I've been in to train my buddy and Capt. EAS has been there the past 2 sessions asking me basic questions about metabolism and commenting about how he just doesn't have the drive to train like I was having my buddy train. (He goes hard when I'm there, but otherwise, not as hard.)

My buddy tells me after Capt. EAS leaves that he thinks I'm full of shit b/c something I said (not sure what exactly) does not jive with the gospel of Bill Phillips.

This is not to say the BP's Body for Life is not a good book. Its actually a pretty basic and solid plan, but damn...

Where does Capt. EAS - who btw is about 6'5" 190 at 12% BF (looks like he might be able to press is body weight but certainly not squat it) - come off with that kind of attitude? All I have to say is BP does one hell of a number on people to get them that brainwashed.

Maybe I need to start driving a Lamborghini... LOL

Phillips is a marketing genius. I had a nutrition store and people flocked to buy his over priced stuff. Good quality but over priced.

definately overpriced...there are other training methods but he only enlists ones who claim to follow his plan. i entered that in 2000 and my workout plan was not the same as he described, i never say any finals either, i gained 23 pounds of muscle in 14 weeks and ate clean but i used a russian athletics/military workout routine.. have no idea what was behind that, but its all a marketing ploy.
Its good material and help motivate some but those who are inclined to the muscle and body know that that doesnt always work for someone. (his workout plan)

From what I've seen its a pretty solid program, diet, etc. Some of this guy's response to me may have just been him, plus that he had lost like 50lb of fat with Phillips methods before.

Bill's got him, hook, line and sinker.

A guess a positive benefit from it all is that this fella is thinking about getting an ACE certification and doing some training...

LOL. Yes, or maybe she just thinks she's his GF. I wouldn't be surprised if she's one of many.

I do kinda like the idea of some other guy cruising around in his Porshe, though. LOL.
