ordering Long R3IGF*I

i found a site that sells 1 mg for $200. the seller claims he will ship it in an insulated container with cold pack. How will this effect the life of the product?

you mean muscle*research, its a solution in ba.
in my opinion its a bad choice, since its alreadt been suspended then it could already have degraded.

Who would people suggest getting it from then? can somebody mail or pm me please. I live in the UK, but I dont mind ording from the US if I absolutely have to.

Im not actually going to run the IGF untill during the summer. Should I get it now while I can and put it in a fridge or just wait untill closer to the time I need it. I ask this because I hear it may not be available for long and I dont want to miss the boat. I know it probably isnt a good idea to store IGF for such a long time while it is suspended in BA so im not sure what to do.

I'd listen to strider on this one. Here are some reasons why..

IGF is supposed to be in cold (preferably frozen) storage. In case you don't remember anything from chem classes an alcohol can't freeze, therefore (drum roll)...benzoyl alcohol or BA can't freeze either. If the person/s making the IGF have had it in BA for a couple months and only refrigerated then it's weakend.

Now when the stuff is shipped...since it's not frozen it's going to be shaken **alot during shipping** and it gets agitated (GRR, IGF no likey) well IGF doesn't like to be shaken just so you know and it gets weakened more.

Now IGF likes acid but if the person/s put the IGF in BA then there isn't any acid in there and it will be weakened moreso and degrades faster than normal manufacture's specs.

Summary: don't buy IGF in BA, chances of you pissing your money away on a weak and heavily degraded products are high.

OK, so if BA is not a good idea, is there ANYONE out there selling the lyophyllized
powder in reasonable amounts (1 to 5mg)? Besides GroPep, obviously? I will be able to reconst. in acid and I have access to a medical freezer (-30 C or whatever), but everyone I know seems to sell in benzyl alcohol. I've been more concerned about the transport issue frankly, because proteins are fragile like you said, and I have no idea whether the fact that the IGF is suspended rather than in solution makes any difference...

And don't tell me to get a job as a researcher...

Ill second that. If it is better to get it as powder. Where the hell do you get it from apart from gropep? I have only ever seen it in BA. Also, with the transport issue, I dont think ill have any choice seeing as im in the UK. ill just have to hope its ok unless there are any UK research places selling the stuff? if so let me know please.
