from what i understand presser the RIAA goes after the people sharing large numbers of files -- i have heard greater than 500. if you don't share hundreds of files you may be fine. when i go online myself i use gnucleus on gnuttella. Gnucleus doesn't deposit spyware and that is why i like it.

if you wanna be totally legit apple imusic and napster 2 sell songs for 99 cents.

The only problem with disabling the sharing is that somehow they know if you are not sharing and somehow they put your download in queue or cut you off altogether.
