just looking to see if there are still any women on this board who bodybuild or into the womens fitness forum.? I would like to hear from you and lets see what works for you and what traing your doing to reach your goals.
 
I have always been in shape and have a good amount of muscle and very into lifting. I am now just starting to get serious about it though. I am just starting to take a couple different things but it's too soon to notice any changes yet. Its the first time I have tried any supplements at all so hopefully I will get good results.
 
Hello, for those that don't know me I'm Presser's wife. I'm actually starting to prepare for a contest that is in July. I train 5 day/wk and do different body parts each day along with cardio.

Just started getting real strict with my diet...the results are awesome...but the whole dieting thing sucks..LOL!!
 
I agree with the dieting thing I never thought It would be so hard to get so lean..i wish there wewre more women who bodybuild on this board. by the way spanishfly thanks for responding been a while since we have seen you post.

Hi all, I am trying to get women in to bodybuilding too. I have seen a decline over the years despite the studies that show how beneficial it is. Competition is of course...a completely different subject. Lots of competition in the Figure and not so much in Bodybuilding anymore.

I'll share what I consider to be my success at reaching my personal goals. I am training and dieting for a show on May 22nd. I am still training hard and heavy with a few sets of pump too. I mix my training with sets of 4-6 as well as 8-12 for the pump and cuts. Lots of posing now which is a workout all it's own.

I live on the lean side year 'round. I am 5' tall and 107lbs right now and 7% bf. I have not peaked yet but I am nearly ready. I consume about 200 to 225gr of protien per day while keeping my carbs cycled between low and mod. Fat is low most days except on my low carb days. Lots of Whey and Amino's with all 7 of my meals. Meals are boring and strict. No deviation.

After my show I will keep it clean but increase my cals and enjoy weekly splurges again. Ahhh, to eat catsup again. ;-) I will be bulking on a clean diet until contest season again next year.

How's that for sharing?
 
So this wouldnt happen to be the Night of the Champions ur dieting for would it?

alright well it is me again and just wanted to update on my results so far... I was at 125 about 2 weeks ago and with the *supplements* I am now at about 135... I have filled out a lot but have still kept my abs... Everyone keeps telling me that I should try to compete but I have no idea about anything competition wise and if I did I dont think that the summer is the best time for me to do it... But anyway whatever I am doing now seems to be working :)
 
thats good to hear. If you can post some pics. Why is summer not good for you to compete, I am doing a local comp for pre summer and maybe mid summer another one, depending on if I can stick to my diet if presser stops teasing me about food I cant have..lol
Thanks for posting what are you looking to gain? how much, and age, basically your goals.
 
I am 22 years old , 5'5 and now 135 lbs , not sure of my body fat but it was 15% a couple of months ago so its got to be lower now. I would like to put on maybe another 10 lbs. of muscle and drop my body fat down to 10% , I know it is not the best thing for me to go that low but really just trying to see if I can get there. I am working out 4-5 nights a week right now , different body parts every night and just starting to add cardio in again. Hopefully everything will keep going like it is. I am on a very high protein diet and no carbs after 4 and then I work out from 6-8... Sorry about the picture I just took it and I had to do it myself.

You look good samantha..You have a great V shape to you back, arms look tight and waist looks good and slim and tone.

You look real good :) I really like how your back tapers to your waist.

You should compete, its a lot of fun.
 
I would really like to compete but dont know a lot about it considering I train with all guys and not many women go to my gym and the ones that do go look like men and I really dont want to look like a man... but that picture is really bad I will try to get more that show more...
 
cool, I use to lift at basic fitness for a while, 24 hours and pretty hardcore but that was years ago, i think its near laural springs?

Wow that's awesome about you're diet and BF%. That's a rare dedication coming from a woman. No offense. That's more strict than my diet...lol.

My brother just moved to NJ. Not sure where but he said there's woodchucks outside. Does that narrow it down? ;)
