6 Weeks Out - Teen Nationals

What's up fellas,

I am preparing for the teen nationals and I though i would post a few pics. I am 19 years old and am 5'11" and 206 lbs in these pics. I figure I'll come in somewhere close to the top of the light-heavy weight class with hopefully, great conditioning. I have dieted for 5 weeks and have 6 more to go. I started off the diet with 55% carbs, 20% fat and 25% protein, and for the past 2 weeks I have been doing 33% carbs, 33% protein and 33% fat. I am thinking of starting a full blown ketogenic diet soon.

So, just let me know what you think.

Damn, lookin awesome brotha...Even though you are 6 weeks out, you could go in to the comp the way you are now and kick some serious ass. Great job.

Bro, work on really cutting up these next 6 weeks. You look great bro.

In the future add some more mass to your lats, hams, quads, and chest and you'll be a major force.

i agree w/ BS. at 19 you look GREAT! nice shoulders and arms!

yeah bro how is it going? any updated pics, we would love to see the progress bro, and as everyone else said you look real good especialy for being so young

Everything is going alright. I am not as lean as I hoped to be.

I competed in the Missouri State Championships last weekend as a test run for nationals this weekend and good thing I did because I think that I fucked up my carb-load big time.

I placed second in the teens and 4th in the novice light-heavies.

That's some funny shit bro!! You look great! At 19 you've got some serious growth to look forward to if you look like this already!! Congratulations!!

For future shows I suggest getting your color darker. I have lost a competition because of this in the past. I suggest you use a protan base with several coats of dreamtan as a finisher.

You have a great physique! I especially like your lat developement, and your tricepts - good luck in the future!

I find that jan tana competition tan works well to darken up rather then dream tan, i see alot of guys fuck up their dream tan and look like they have a combat tan on,lol, just another choice for ya bro

I know that I looked like Casper on stage. I didn't take this contest too seriously. I just wanted to make sure that everything was on track for Teen Nationals this week. I'm using plenty of tan products right now. Also, i think that I could have had a much better show at winning the teen division at the Missouri if I had a tanner on. But oh well.

Color is extremely important. This lights are so bright that if you are not dark enough they will completely wash out all your definition, making you look smoothe. I can be really dissapointing to loose to someone who backstage is smooth, but under the lights looks harder and more defined than you, on acount that his color was on and yours was off. Many judges won't even give a second look to a guy who isn't sufficiently dark enough.
