Hypothetical question

If you were able to increase your body's own production of GH significantly (can it be done?), would that also translate to an increase of IGF-1? Does the administration of exogenous GH increase IGF-1 levels at all? And what exactly are the effects people experience while on HGH and (separately) while on IGF-1? Do these sides occur together because an increase of GH increases IGF-1 levels or are there separate and distinct side effects to each compound?

growth hormone causes an increase in IGF1 production. I've never tried either but many users report fat loss, and some increase in muscle mass. Side effects being pain in hands, or numbness. I believe that side effect appears with both GH and IGF1 in high enough doses.

Anyone care to add some real experiences...

Hmmm...I've heard that joints seem to heal faster, is that true? When you take a supplement such as GABA, how much of an increase in GH does it cause (or could it cause) on average? It seems like the average amount people take of exogenous GH is about 4IU per day, is that right? If anyone is on it now, what effects are you experiencing?

I suppose the reason I ask is this--(lengthy explanation coming)--My knee became really sore on the way back from a trip to Brasil--I guess from being kept in the same position for over 10 hours. The pain persisted for about a week and a half. About 3-4 days ago, I began taking GABA, and the dosage is 500 mg two to three times daily (that is what the bottle says). The pain cleared up rather suddenly on about the third day along with a bit of tendonitis I had in my elbows. So how much of an increase in GH causes that to happen? I have never had stuff heal that fast before.

I seriously doubt the gaba had anything to do with it bro. You didn't cause any trauma to your leg, so it sounds like time and rest healed your wound.
